The path to power at Hogwarts Legacy goes beyond learning spells, charms, and curses. Getting equipment is just as important, let alone upgrading it to its full potential! However, carrying it out requires a lot of dedicated work.
The first step to upgrading pieces of equipment is to get the Loom summoning spell
You can upgrade all pieces of equipment: hats, gloves, face, scarves, tunics, and undergarments. The pieces have two types of improvements:
- Stat improvements: Each piece has three upgrades, which affect the amount of attack and require a certain amount of ingredients.
- attribute slot: here you can equip the runes that you find in the enemy Camps and in other locations. These runes enhance the effects of specific spells and curses. For example, it increases Confringo’s damage.
And where do you get the ingredients to improve the stats? Of the care and breeding of magical animals. The materials you get from them (furs, feathers and more) will be used for the different phases of the improvements. You can also buy them, but they have quite high prices. I recommend you have at least one or two animals of each species to be well served with materials.
