Behavior Interactive in partnership with Atomic Monster and Blumhouse dead by daylight Made into a feature film.
Blumhouse was founded by Jason Blum, producer of Get Out, Black Telephone, Halloween (2018) and more. Atomic Monster was founded by James Wan, writer, director and producer of Saw, The Conjuring 2, Aquaman and more.

“Atomic Monster and Blumhouse are the ideal partners to bring Dead by Daylight’s killer entrance to the big screen.”
“In Dead by Daylight, the Behavior team created a love letter to the horror world, creating an incredible setting filled with atmosphere and terrifying villains—perfect for a horror movie adaptation,” said James, Founder and CEO, Atomic Monster Wan added.
“We’re big fans of the Atomic Monster games and are excited to be working with Blumhouse to bring this chilling world to the big screen.”
The search for a director and writer is ongoing, with Jason Bloom “determined to find the right fit”.
“There are a lot of Dead by Daylight fans who think we have to find people who appreciate and love the world as much as we do to help us bring the game to the big screen,” Blum said.
“We know that the partnership of Behavior and Atomic Monster will help us bring the best version of this game to life.”
Producers include Wan, Blum and Mulrooney. Executive producers include Behavior Interactive’s Remi Racine, Atomic Monster’s Michael Clear and Judson Scott, as well as Blumhouse’s Ryan Turek and Striker Entertainment’s Russell Binder.

Dead by Daylight is an asymmetrical multiplayer survival horror game featuring 1v4 where one player is the killer and the other four players are survivors.
Released in 2016, it has received numerous updates and content drops over the years, with characters and settings from other series also appear ing in the game. These include A Nightmare on Elm Street, Devil’s Dead, Scream, Halloween, Hellraiser, Left 4 Dead, Resident Evil, Saw, Silent Hill, Stranger Things, and more.
