fengxi In Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is a large, boar-like demon that won’t hesitate to leap and stomp you to death or charge you with its large red tusks.
This is the final boss you fight at the end of Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty’s second mission, Two Knightly Heroes, where you’ve already fought a demonic beast. Zhao Yun is, again, there to help, but he’s a considerably tougher and faster boss who can more or less crush you in one hit from the start if you’re not prepared.
This guide will provide you with all the information and advice you’ll need to survive, so you can roast that pig and continue your journey through the rest of Three Kingdoms-era China.

How to prepare for Fengxi in Wo Long Fallen Dynasty
Fengxi has a huge starting morale of 20, twice that of Zhuyan, which means he will hit very hard. Also, by equipping yourself with better gear, which isn’t easy at this early stage of Wo Long, you should aim to increase your courage rank by planting battle flags so that your minimum morale is at the height. With all the battle flag slots available in this mission, you should be able to increase your courage to 19, which will even out the odds considerably.
This level also has the first Dragon Vein Crystal, which will increase your dragon’s healing pot usage by one point. If you also have Absorb Vitality equipped as a Sorcery spell, this will also help you regain HP when your attacks land, especially with Fatal Strikes. Don’t forget to also have Enhanced Defense to help reduce damage.
Remember that in the previous fight with Zhuyan, you unlocked Qilin as your first Divine Beast, and you’ll see a text prompt displayed to remind you of this potentially life-saving mechanic. Its gauge does take a while to fill up though, so it can be useful to grind down some enemies before approaching the boss so you can use it.
How to defeat Fengxi in Wo Long Fallen Dynasty
Fengxi’s attacks are Wo Long’s most impactful so far, with her unblockable attacks able to fire at you if you’re low on morale. There are torches lit in the arena, but it’s not some kind of cover as she can just walk through them. Still, like the other bosses we’ve seen so far, these attacks can all be deflected, but let’s go over the Demon Boar’s attack patterns first.
The immediate attack charges you with its defenses. If you have a certain distance, you can anticipate the load; while this is also preceded by an animation where he stomps his hoof on the ground as if charging.
When deflecting, you’ll have a brief window after his missed charge where you can land a few hits before he turns around to find you. Be warned that the 180 turn he does can actually damage you as he basically swings his defenses in your direction, so don’t get greedy with attacks and be prepared to block or deflect. Naturally, in any case, Deflection is always better since it will improve your Spirit Gauge and reduce Fengxi.
It can also attack with its front hooves. When attacking, it raises slightly to sink one of its hooves before doing the same with the other. Its other attack attempts to stomp you with a three-hit jumping combo. For the first two he raises his two front hooves to smash you, but on the third he leaps high into the air to smash into you, although this gives you more time to anticipate a deflection. This jump attack can also occur without the combo.
Fengxi has two unblockable attacks to watch out for. One looks like a variation of its charge attack, except you can tell the difference by the ominous bright red glow, and instead of charging you with its tusks, it will grab you with its mouth and nip at you. If it hasn’t already killed you, the damage when it knocks you back to the ground afterwards probably will. Deflect it though and you’ll knock it sideways, giving you the chance to deal damage – be sure to do some Spirit attacks.
For his other unblockable attack, he kind of rises up with his two rear hooves, towering over you, with a brief pause before dropping to smash you. Again, massive damage if you get hit, but wait for it to drop down and deflect. You’ll knock it to the side, giving you free rein to unleash your best Spirit Reduction attacks.
Deflecting these unblockables and punishing with Spirit attacks will help push his Spirit Gauge further into the negative side and lower his upper limit significantly, which is what you want so you can stagger Fengxi for a powerful killing strike.
As with Zhuyan, this boss can also restore any morale lost after he drops to two-thirds health, indicated by a demonic aura that comes from the ground around him while he roars, which will knock you back but not won’t hurt.
If you want to continue the offensive, summoning Qilin is highly recommended because his attack does huge damage, which is also able to knock Fengxi’s spirit down and even stun him with one hit, will make the fight much faster . We’d probably recommend using it to try and stagger the beast the second or third time around, but getting three fatal strikes on it should be enough to kill it.
Fengxi Reward in Wo Long Fallen Dynasty
Killing Fengxi will net you 4,658 Qi and 3,943 Copper (these may vary depending on equipped gear), while the beast also drops a Dizi Flute (4 stars) and Lieutenant General’s Helmet (3 stars) ).
As this is the end of the mission, you will also receive rank 1 leather (x3), yellow turban soldier cap (x1), yellow turban soldier armor (x1) and iron sword (x1) as rewards. ) the first time you complete it.
As your ally Zhao Yun says, this victory brings you closer to peace, but you have many more trials and tribulations ahead in Wo Long!
