Player releases Kelvin army, soon there will be no tree left

Anyone who plays Sons of the Forest can hardly avoid NPC companion Kelvin. The friendly elite soldier is now well known in the community. Its destructive nature in particular makes for fantastic memes and stories time and time again.

One player wondered what would happen if you unleashed not just one destroyer, but an entire Kelvin army on the forest. The result can be seen here:

Gamer BigBrianGameplay gives his Kelvin army only one task: cut down everything that isn’t in the trees by three (and even if they are, they won’t be for long). Important: He can only give a task to one Kelvin at a time. In order for his army to get going, he has to give each and every one of them the same task.

In addition to the Kelvins, who sometimes suffer from the tree felling caused by their cloned partners, the performance also has to take a beating with so many hard-working workers, as you can see in the video.

That’s basically not a problem, because you don’t have to do much else anyway, apart from sitting around and waiting. FYI: BigBrianGameplay is playing according to their own statements on a 10 year old CPU. It might run smoother on your system.

How to create your own Kelvin army

If you want to experiment a bit with Kelvin yourself, BigBrianGameplay conveniently added a guide starting at 1:37. To create your army you need the help of two mods. First, you need them DebugConsole and BepInExPack. Once you have downloaded and installed both mods, you can open the dev console with F1 in the game.

With this tool you can not only clone Kelvin, but also Virginia or make many other adjustments and adjustments to the actual game. Like the camera movement that you see in the video.

Important: Kelvin is not called Kelvin in the console, but Robby. We don’t know why this is so. Like the creator of the video, we suspect that Kelvin was once called Robby and was later renamed.
