Freshly landed on Noah, a strange continent from another dimension populated by bizarre creatures and other robot fanatics, you control Siruby, a young android armed with a sword. transirubin is a mix of 2D action and puzzles. But in the background as a form, it’s mostly a Metroidvania-type colored pixel art platformer. You will be escorted there via intercom by a cat-headed AI named Necom. The latter will give you small hints and learning tips throughout the game to survive in this hostile environment.
Published by Skipmore and developed by Flyhigh Work Studios, this game is dynamic, the levels are very colorful, lively and divided into different zones that form a large open map that allows you to return after unlocking certain accesses. The complexity of the game mainly lies in finding the goal and how to achieve it. To do this, you can collect “tranchips,” a type of golden artifact that will open doors for you once the right number has been collected.
Various skills and weapons will be unlockable, including a very useful pistol to freeze enemies to use as a platform. In addition, the checkpoints are numerous, advancing in the zones is quite labyrinthine and interspersed with boss fights and puzzles.
The game is fairly short, but speed running options are available for the most relentless.
