For two years, Apple has seasoned spring with new colors for your iPhone. You may remember: in April 2021 we saw the iPhone 12 arrive in purple, and in mid-March 2022 the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro appeared in green.
Now rumors indicate that The iPhone 14 will have a new color following this tradition: yellow. It’s a color that’s been used in previous iPhone generations but not modern generations, so it would be the return of a color we haven’t seen in Apple phones for a long time.
I have a yellow iPhone, that’s what it is now
If Apple chooses to stick with last year’s strategy, we could see a flashy yellow iPhone 14 followed by a more understated or sleek yellow iPhone 14 Pro. It’s a strong color, so at Apple Park they had to try a lot of shades so it wasn’t too overdone a yellow.
Proof of this is, in fact, the rumor that we are also going to have novelties in terms of accessories: a tweet from Majin Bu shows what the new colors should be for the silicone and leather cases of the iPhone 14:

Some new colors are slightly modified:

When might we see this release? Well, MacRumors sources say Apple will let the press know this week. And so means that in a few days we could see it become a reality in stores. Apple may be taking the opportunity to release other news (or news hidden in iOS 16.4 that we haven’t discovered yet), but it’s a matter of waiting.
