Original story [Tue 7th Feb, 2023 03:54 GMT]:

Overwatch 2 is entering new territory in its third season with the announcement of co-op – similar to what we’ve seen in other free-to-play titles like Fortnite and even the LEGO Bastion skin in the original Overwatch game.

The second game will start with a special one One Punch Man anime collaboration. If you’re not familiar with One Punch Man hero Saitama, he’s actually one of the most optimal anime heroes of all time – able to defeat anyone and anything with just one punch. His outfit in Overwatch 2 is paired with Doomfist.

This season starts on February 7th (that’s today or tomorrow depending on your location). In addition to this new skin, there will be new rewards, a brand new battle pass, a new map, new seasonal competitive events and more to unlock. Watch the trailer below (you can see the One Punch promo for about a minute):

Overwatch 2 is a free-to-download title available on the Switch eShop. Will you give this event a chance? What other collaborations would you like to see in Overwatch 2 in the future? Leave your opinion in the comments.
