part, Requirements, version

A few weeks before the release of the PC version, Naughty Dog has now announced more details about this adaptation of the action classic, including the system requirements.

Via PlayStation Blog Naughty Dog has now released more details about the forthcoming PC version of The Last of Us: Part I, which is said to be available from March 28, 2023. Among other things, the system requirements have been published so that you can now make sure whether the title actually runs on your computer.

Considering that the title originally came out for the PlayStation 3 in 2013, the demands may seem high to some. However, since then the game has also been optimized for the PlayStation 4 and then for the PlayStation 5, so it is now much more modern. This is all the more true as the PC version should be on par with the PS5 version and also has some platform-specific features.

If you want to play on ultra settings, you also need an RTX 4080 graphics card, but you can also get started on low settings with a GTX 970 – and it was first released in 2014. In short: Naughty Dog should cover a wide range of computers with the title.

All system requirements for the different resolutions and details can be found in the graphic below:

As far as the PC features are concerned, various comfort improvements on this platform were once again underlined by the makers. AMD FSR 2.2 and NVIDIA DLSS Super Resolution should also be supported, as well as V-Sync and options for limiting the frame rate. In addition, there are various functions for adjusting texture quality, shadows, reflections, ambient occlusion and more. In addition to a top 4K resolution, you can also expect the use of 21:9 ultrawide and 32:9 super ultrawide monitors.
