Soulcalibur 6, the latest installment in the franchise, was released a decade ago and so far there’s no new installment on the horizon, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t. is no news in the IP, in fact everything seems to indicate that Bandai Namco is devoting a few hours to a new project whose protagonist is the game of combat weapons.
The information was released in the xbox era podcast and indicates that the Japanese company I’ll be working on a Soulcalibur remaster even if the thing could be a little more important.

Apparently the project would not just be a remaster Soulcalibur but rather a collection of various Soulcalibur titles. Regardless of the end result, Nick Baker, co-creator of the podcast, went further and assured that a source within the development company had leaked to him that the title will arrive on Game Pass from day onea very important fact although, for the moment, with very little official support.
Given how few fighting game options these days and fan love for Soulcalibur, it’s likely Bandai Namco saw this as a great idea to raise money with an existing product. We’ll see if anything is officially confirmed in the next few days.
