There is deadly potential in the harmless cats of Hogwarts Legacy

In Hogwarts Legacy we can do whatever we want. What are the NPCs supposed to do when they call the cops? Obviously, many players were though a little bit too cheeky for the cats to the game world. Because like the community manager Chandler Wood shows on Twitter, the developers have now come up with something how the cuddly fur balls could defend themselves against annoying magicians.

And that even has deadly consequences for players! Be warned though: what Chandler Wood is showing is not currently a feature of Hogwarts Legacy and is only intended for internal use by the development team. It is also currently not planned that it will be delivered via update. What a hangover!

If cats could do magic

In Hogwarts Legacy we can pet cats, which is undoubtedly one of the most important features of the role-playing game. If you don’t know what to do with the majestic four-legged friends, you can also vent all your pent-up anger at them and throw them through the air with Levioso or Depulso, for example.

As soon as the kitties run out of patience, they simply flee. The video clip by Chandler Wood now shows that the developers do not appreciate the animal abuse. So they came up with something how the cats of Hogwarts Legacy could theoretically defend themselves.

Namely with Adama Kedavra – the deadliest curse of the Harry Potter cosmos. In the video clip we see how a naughty boy tries to attack a cat – and immediately collects the return. The house tiger does not hesitate long to finish off the attacker with a quick magic.

As previously mentioned, the developers don’t plan on actually having the cats of Hogwarts Legacy cast deadly curses. If they could, no doubt they would. It’s probably just a matter of time before mods fix it.
