Nintendo Switch Online: New NES. SNES and Game Boy classics on the way

Retro fans with a subscription to Nintendo Switch Online are getting supplies again, because the Japanese put together a neat package of NES, SNES and Game Boy games in March.

For some time now, Nintendo has been publishing numerous classics from the past via Nintendo Switch Online, which can then be enjoyed on the current switch console at no additional cost. Now supplies are on the way again – and this time fans of NES, Super NES and Game Boy will get their money’s worth.

If you stick with the former handheld veteran, you get two Game Boy titles: BurgerTime Deluxe and Kirby’s Dream Land 2. Both are already available, which should make fans of classic Kirby titles happy. After all, the first Kirby’s Dream Land can already be found in the Switch Online library.

Side Pocket was added to the range of games from the Super NES era, while Xevious was added from the earlier NES. The former is a billiards title that competed with, for example, 8 Ball Pool. Xevious, on the other hand, originally appeared in 1982 for arcade devices; Here you climb into the cockpit of a Solvalou Fighter and have to assert yourself with all sorts of weapons and subjugate humanity. The game drew inspiration from other sci-fi brands such as Alien, Star Wars or Battlestar Galactica.
