On March 24, 2023, after 18 years, the remake of the survival horror classic Resident Evil 4 will be released. A week before the release, the first reviews from the international press have appeared. These turned out great, but still it falls a bit short of the original.
What is that Problem
?
As of March 17, 2023, Resident Evil 4 Remake can be a seriously impressive Meta score of 93/100 points book. For comparison, The Last of Us remake has one Meta score of 88 points. However, Resident Evil 4 Remake lags behind the original with its score: It has a fantastic one Score of 96 points
This defeat
but it’s no shame as Resident Evil 4 revolutionized the third person shooter as a genre when it was released in 2005 and was otherwise unique in every way. This is of course no longer the case with a remake. It is all the more impressive that Resident Evil 4 Remake can still achieve a Ü90 score, which definitely makes it one of the best rated games of all time.

Also IGN praises the title to the skies:

Player 2 highlights that there are some interesting plot differences that make it appealing even for Resident Evil veterans like the first time
will feel.
There is also criticism, albeit very little. Only two of the 88 reviews are not clearly positive and only awarded 70 points each. Siliconera
Resident Evil 4 Remake asks the pithy question of whether you can perfect something that’s already considered perfect. While it does quite well on a technical level, Capcom’s latest remake suffers from a lack of creativity compared to the other series revivals.
