After seeing dozens of publishers out of PAX East last week due to an outbreak of coronavirus outbreaks, and postponement of GDC, thoughts naturally fall into another major game event coming up: E3.
The 2020 show is expected to take place this summer from June 9-11, and last month we saw Nintendo, Xbox and third-party publishers reportedly in attendance. The coronavirus no doubt throws a spanner into the works, but an E3 Entertainment Software Association editor has released a statement regarding its plans.
Here is what it says Deputy:
"Everyone is looking forward to the situation. We will continue to monitor, because our top priority is the health, health and safety of all viewers and attendees. As we know that, we are moving ahead at a speed of E3 2020 Planning. happy June. "
With Tony's exit from this year's show, E3 organizers will no doubt be hoping that some big names remain on the board despite the potential dangers.
