The PC version of Death Stranding finally has a release date: On June 2, 2020 Meta Gear inventor Hideo Kojima's open world adventure will appear on PC – and according to an official press release, the game will be released on Steam and the Epic Store on this date.
Death Stranding also comes with some technical improvements on the PC. Among other things, there is a photo mode and support for Ultrawide screens. At least this is announced by the first mini trailer for the PC version:

According to publisher 505 Games, there is also one Cooperation with Valve, which creates some cross-promo extras. At the beginning of the trailer you can see, for example, that main character Sam (Norman Reedus) is wearing the gravity gloves from the new Half-Life: Alyx.
We also see that iconic glasses by Gordon Freeman on Sam's nose as well as a valve valve, which he can wear as a braid replacement on the back of the head. Or if you don't like this headdress, then at the end of the video there is also a view of the headcrab hat.
It has been clear since October 2019 that Death Stranding, as yet a PS4-exclusive game, would make it onto the PC this summer. The publishers of 505 Games also announced a few months ago that the PC version would be released on Steam and Epic at the same time. With June 2nd we finally know the exact release date.
