Climbing stairs is not only a nuisance in reality, it also robs you of time and energy in Sons of the Forest. In addition, building the stairs not only costs a few trunks, but is also annoyingly complicated. Only since the last update can you even build walls along the steps!
Reddit user Bossbatsky makes life (survival) easy for himself: He builds two elevators so that he can be on the top floor of his building in no time. The construction is as simple as it is ingenious.
Build an elevator in Sons of the Forest

Actually, it is obvious: A vertical zip line! Most players probably already know that you can also slide uphill with the rope pistol – but such an angle is surprising.
But so that you don’t slap down again straight away, you need a floor on the upper floor. Now this is where it gets exciting: Bossbatsky left a hole in the floor for your elevator to go through. So if you’re hanging on the zip line, you’ll slide through the hole – but you can’t fall through it once you get to the top. You can only squeeze through the hole if you take the zipline back down.
If the new glider can also be transported by elevator, then this construction would be perfect as a take-off point. That would certainly be an advantage for the builder of this monstrous tower.
Will you also build an elevator like this in the base or do you prefer to keep fit by climbing stairs? And what building options are you currently missing for Sons of the Forest? The much-desired goal is now in play, as are the lockable doors. Write us in the comments, we are curious!
