The new update for Blood Bowl 3 makes changes to how items are used.
Cyanide Studio and NACON announce information about new updates and content for Blood Bowl 3. These were made via a major patch now available for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
Blood Bowl 3 is designed for long-term play and will be regularly updated with new content, features and competitions. Since the release of Blood Bowl 3 in February, the studio and publisher have been gathering feedback from fans, paying particular attention to the monetization system. Numerous changes have already been announced and implemented to improve the game and fix problems.
In addition, the new patch has now been released with the following changes: From now on, all common, rare and epic gear items unlocked through purchase or in-game rewards can be used by the different teams indefinitely. The items will be usable f or characters playing the same positions. It will no longer be necessary to buy multiple helmets or shoulder pads to equip different characters in the same position.
Players who have purchased the same piece of gear multiple times (now with unlimited use) will receive a refund in Warpstone, the Blood Bowl 3 in-game currency.
The development team also aims to continue improving the game experience based on community expectations and feedback throughout the pre-season, which will last until the start of Season 1 in May.
Particular attention is paid to the preparation of the competitive season (rankings, matchmaking system, admin tools, etc.). Patches will be released during the preseason to make any necessary fixes. To make up for any launch issues, the Season 1 Blood Pass, which offers access to a new faction, additional features and 50 tiers of rewards, is free to unlock for everyone.
More information about the patch notes can be found on the Blood Bowl 3 Steam page.
