This year the filming of the film version of Uncharted should finally take place. The action blockbuster movie strip is known to feature Tom Holland as Nathan Drake and Mark Wahlberg as Sully – but these aren't the only well-known names from Hollywood.
As a new report by Variety now shows, Antonio Banderas is now a real Hollywood star with the cast. Which role Banderas, who will turn 60 in the course of the year and was last nominated for an Oscar for the first time, is not yet clear.
Other new actors who have also been confirmed for "Uncharted" are Sophia Ali ("Grey's Anatomy") and Tati Garbielle ("The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina").
The report emphasizes once again that Ruben Fleischer ("Venom") should take over as director. Previously, several directors had jumped out, including Seth Gordon, Neil Burger, David O. Russell and a few more. Actually, Travis Knight ("Bumblebee") should have taken over, but in the end he didn't have enough time in the diary.
The film version of the PS4 action brand is to be shown in cinemas from March 5, 2021.
