Dearest Survivors, We’re excited for our five nominations at the BAFTA Awards last night, and as I write this I’m very hopeful that we won (*Editor’s note: Vampire Survivors have won two BAFTAs including Best Game ). Regardless, we are here today with a lot of good news and just a sprinkling of bad news.

We regret to inform you that we will convert your 100% complete save file back to a regular old save file. We know. We’re sorry.
Luckily, we’re also here with some very good news to ease the pain. Our second DLC is only a few weeks away. We hope you’ve enjoyed your journey to help the Moonspell clan in the Alps of Japan in our first DLC, because we’ll be sending you back to school soon Tides of the Foscari Expansion, starting on 13.
A quest through an enchanted forest
In Tides of the Foscari, our story takes us to the rolling hills and wooded lands of Western Europe. We have been heavily influenced by fairy tales and folklore that whisper warnings not to stray too close to murky forests.
The Great Forest is home to all manner of magical beasts, wizards, demi-humans, ghosts, demons, angels and all the things you might not wish to encounter when your lantern goes out. Here the barrier between worlds is dangerously thin, but there are people who traverse the forest to reach what lies at its heart: Foscari Academy.
You wouldn’t think that parents of the world’s elite would gladly put their offspring at risk just to get an education, but Foscari Academy isn’t just a school. Here, the next generation of warriors, scholars, and leaders learn what it takes to become masters of their craft.
The vast facade of the academy tells a story of generations, with each era leaving its own mark on the sprawling building. The diverse architectural styles of the centuries, influenced by cultures around the world, have created a hodgepodge that is curious and unique, but also a little unsettling to the senses.
The academy, like many traditional schools in Western Europe, is divided into houses. The Azure Spire shapes hedge witches and novice mages into formidable wizards and warlocks. Here arcanologists can learn science and the arts of diplomacy alongside non-magical people. The Azure Tower advertises the world’s most powerful witches and wizards and its most experienced healers and academics as its graduates.
The Crimson Anvil transforms raw power into finely tuned masters of warfare. But even those who don’t have the power (or the inner strength) to fight have a lot to learn here. Engineering, architecture, demolition, and blacksmithing are all tasks of the Crimson Anvil.
And finally, the Amber Sickle is the house of silent professions. These noble pursuits include bookkeeping and farming, ranching, and archery. But if you pay close enough attention, you might catch a glimpse of a student practicing espionage in training for a career in espionage. The disciples of the Amber Sickle are not well known, but their work is still felt around the world.
There is so much more to do tides of the foscari, And some of you don’t have to wait to play it. We secretly set up our machines at WASD in London this weekend with the new DLC. In fact, some of you may have played it yesterday without even realizing it. We warned you we’re rascals!
If you’re coming to the event, be sure to drop by to try out the expansion, take a spin with one of the new characters, and start planning your builds for later this month.
