Ever since it was announced in 2020, fans have been waiting for ARK 2, the sequel to ARK: Survival Evolved for Xbox, Game Pass and PC. But now the developers are postponing the release of the survival title.
On your own Website Studio Wildcard writes that the release will be postponed to the end of 2024. However, an exact date is not known.
Studio Wildcard cites the Unreal Engine 5 as one of the reasons for the postponement of the release date. It is an incredibly new technology that the developers want to take full advantage of.
For this, however, it is necessary for the developers to learn more about the engine and to adapt workflows. Accordingly, the company needs more time to develop ARK 2.
