Acquisitions of video game companies have been very common lately. This is especially done by Microsoft and Sony. However, acquisitions don’t always come from a hardware company. This can occasionally happen with third parties or even independent companies.
For example, Devolver Digital announced earlier today that it has acquired Doinksoft. Doinksoft is known for Gato Robot and Demon Throttle. As for upcoming releases, Doinksoft plans to release Gunbrella for Nintendo Switch and PC later this year. The announcement tweet is below.
