Something is wrong with the iOS 16 weather app. Some users shared on social media how iPhone weather forecast data not showing. This seems to happen both in the app and in the Widgets that we can configure on the main screen of the system.
Apple itself officially reported the problem: the section of its website that reports on the status of its online services shows problems with the weather forecast since 5 a.m., stating that “some users are affected“.
In bad weather good head. At non-existent time, patience
Personally, I wasn’t affected by this (and I see I’m looking at over ten locations in the Weather app), but here are a few people who shared screenshots of what happened even in Spanish places:

The Apple Services website shows the following error:
“Precipitation chart for the next hour may not be available for Alaska due to data provider outage”
In other words, those responsible for providing meteorological data are in trouble. And while Apple says it’s something localized to Alaska, it has global effects (although it doesn’t look like something massive).
There is not much we can do: restarting the application or the whole iPhone does not solve the problem because its root is on the servers and not on our device. We can only wait for the problem to be fixedsomething that should happen in the next few hours or days.
If the problem affects you, you can always resort to temporary alternative weather apps such as Carrot Weather or websites such as the Spanish Meteorological Agency. In bad weather good head.
