You can literally make any of the eggs Resident Evil 4 bosses to death. Towards the end of the castle chapter, players must fight an evil noble who has merged with a parasite queen. You can easily kill him in two hits as long as you’re armed with golden eggs.
Eggs are usually used in RE4 as a means of restoring the player’s health. While they can also be used to temporarily stun certain parasite enemies, they weren’t intended as weapons of mass destruction. Unless your name is Ramón Salazar. Salazar is a cultist who played a central role in the kidnapping of the US President’s daughter, Ashley Graham, and you fight him at the end of the Castle chapter. Or rather, you fight a chimera composed of the Parasite Queen, one of his monstrous bodyguards, and Salazar himself.
The REFERENCE Wikia recommends exposing his weak point with a submachine gun and then beating him up with a rocket launcher. But there is an easier way to kill him. If you throw at least one gold Egg on him, it takes most of his health. This weakness is not even a fault; exploiting them will cause Salazar to fall backwards and call the protagonist Leon Kennedy a “worm.”

Here’s the funnest part: There’s no biological reason the parasite queen would react to a chicken egg like that. The egg debuff comes from Salazar himself. This is hinted at when you do the merchant quest “The shame of the Salazar family‘ which prompts you to deface a portrait of Salazar. The painting is completely insensitive to conventional weapons such as knives and firearms. The only way to complete this quest is to wait for one of the nearby chickens to lay an egg and then throw the item at the portrait. So once you have completed this side quest, this is a fun hint to find the easiest method to defeat the final boss. Merchant Quests are a new feature for the RE4 Remake, so it’s likely this trick wasn’t available in the original game.
I find it creatively inspired that Salazar was such a loser that he managed to debuff his own Chimera. Keep an eye out for these golden eggs if you want to prank him badly.
