The upcoming Android 11 operating system has many new features, such as improved data protection and faster updates. As reported by the 9to5Google website, Reddit users have now discovered previously unknown features. If the phone is on a QI charger but not yet charged, Android 11 should issue a warning. Obviously, users are required to readjust their smartphones so that they can charge the battery.
9to5Google is able to reproduce the warning, but this only applies to the Google Pixel 4 XL, but the tested Pixel 3 does not send any messages. It is unknown how the new features work. Android 11 may detect the minimum current and determine that the device is on the QI charging pad. This feature should certainly be useful for phone owners who use QI to charge their phones. Whether the feature will make it the final version and which phones will be supported remains to be seen.
