Looks like some footage from potential Persona 3 remake and jet radio The reboot has leaked online.
I should say right away that like any leak or rumour, it’s always good to take it with a grain of salt. But if the leak is to be believed, some footage of a Persona 3 remake and a new Jet Set Radio has emerged, courtesy of Twitter user akiaangelica. The user first shared footage of Yukari attacking enemies from Persona 3 last week on April 4, before later claimed
The tweet showed some other footage, such as enemies previously shown in Sonic Frontiers looking slightly different from their in-game counterparts, and a short shot showing Beat dancing from Jet Set Radio. Some have noticed that Sonic Frontier looks better from that footage than it does now, though that’s likely just a target render. Jet Set Radio’s footage isn’t surprising considering a report last year claimed a reboot was in the works. As pointed out by SegaBits, this video is related to some Leaked image from last yearmaking it look more like a test than anything concrete, if true.
While Gematsu couldn’t verify footage of the possible Persona 3 remake, it did share its understanding that the remake has been in development at Atlus for years. It’s also worth noting that a Persona 5 mobile spin-off has been announced, and it does have a gacha mechanic, so it’s possible that it takes this into account in some way, though it would be weird to show off Persona 3 characters exclusively in the reels.
Earlier this year, Persona 3 Portable launched alongside Persona 4 Golden on PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox consoles. But the former, originally released on the PSP, didn’t let you explore environments beyond dungeons, so the idea of a remake isn’t too surprising.
