The US government is on fire right now – and somehow Minecraft is involved.
The USA is currently in crisis mode. The culprit is a leak of secret military documents that appeared on a Minecraft Discord server of all places. There they were even available for several weeks before anyone noticed them.

What happened? How CNN reported, a total of 53 photographed documents appeared on the Discord server between mid-February and early March. And not just anywhere, but on a Discord server dedicated specifically to recreating the entire world: Minecraft Earth Map.
Not unlike a fairly similar incident at War Thunder, it all arguably started with an argument until someone pulled out classified military documents to back up his argument. Some of the information was even changed later. According to Pentagon spokesman Chris Meagher, it cannot be ruled out that false information will be spread on the basis of these papers.
What’s in the documents? The top-secret papers contain confidential information about the Ukraine war. For example, the locations of Ukrainian and Russian troops, details of arms deliveries and maps of the front line. It is also about information about allies of the USA.
Another problem is that the documents deal with espionage tactics by American secret services. This information is therefore particularly valuable for Russia.
What’s next? According to the daily News It is currently not known who is responsible for the leak – the authorities are still groping in the dark. According to the Washington Post, hundreds to even thousands of Pentagon employees with the appropriate level of security are said to have had access to the documents.
At least one thing is certain: The US Department of the United States has already initiated investigations, so the responsible leaker must expect criminal consequences.
