Next Resident Evil movie goes all out, fans love the absurdity

Normally I wouldn’t be too excited about a resident Evil Movie as both the live action and CG entries weren’t great. But a new trailer for the upcoming one death island looks too damn cheesy and funny to ignore. I mean all your favorites resident Evil Heroes – how RE4is Leon And RE3is Jill– are back together to take on zombie sharks. How can I not upset about it?

The CG animation film Resident Evil: Death Island, first announced in Februarytakes place in 2015 and sets it after the events of Resident Evil 6 but before those of Resident Evil 7 And Village. It is a direct sequel to the 2017 CG film Resident Evil: Vendetta. Visit the new trailer for the moviereleased April 11 and starring Chris Redfield, Jill Valentine, Rebecca Chambers, Claire Redfield and Leon S. Kennedy:

Yes, that is basically the case Resident Evil’s turn on The Avengers, take all the previous characters and events, throw them in a blender, and then press the cool shit button. I’m not mad at all. The direct references to resident evil 5, revelations 2and other resident Evil Games have me smiling like a fanboy and the action looks silly and over the top. And I admit it: see that avenger-like shot at the end With all the heroes fighting a big enemy, I got my fist pumping a bit.

what is death island about, and when will it be out?

Here is the officially death island Summary by Capcomvia IGN:

DSO Agent Leon S. Kennedy is on a mission to apprehend Dr. Saving Antonio Taylor from kidnappers when a mysterious woman thwarts his pursuit. Meanwhile, BSAA agent Chris Redfield investigates a zombie outbreak in San Francisco where the source of the infection cannot be identified. The only thing the victims have in common is that they all recently visited Alcatraz Island. Following this clue, Chris and his team head to the island, where a new horror awaits them.

Internet searchyou can see Reactions to the new trailer have been pretty positivewith resident Evil Fans post clips and screenshots alongside excited tweets. In particular, people really seem into The final shot with all heroes working together. And I can’t end this without pointing it out The great Hawaiian shirt by Chris Redfield seen about halfway through the trailer. Capcom, make this a real skin in the future resident Evil game please

So far, Capcom has only announced a release date in Japan: it will hit theaters there on July 7, 2023. In the past some of them cg resident Evil movies I played in cinemas in the UK and US for a limited time prior to the digital release, so I’m expecting something similar here. If Capcom follows a similar pattern to previous films, I would expect a US theatrical release towards the end of July or early August, and a home release to follow shortly thereafter.
