According to THQ Nordic, the wrestling game AEW: Fight Forever isn’t ready for a release yet.
Tony Khan, President of All Elite Wrestling (AEW), recently said development of the video game AEW: Fight Forever has ended and a release is imminent.
But that is not the case.
Per Hollenbo, global senior community manager at publisher THQ Nordic, responded to the rumor on Twitter, saying the game is on the right track but isn’t ready yet.
Hollebo wrote on Twitter: “I mean if you guys want an unfinished game, of course we can release it now. The game is doing really well and is on the way there but not 100% yet so yeah just another rumor on twitter I’m afraid.”
AEW: Fight Forever is expected to be released later this year for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4|5, Nintendo Switch and PC.
