Most recently, The Lord of the Rings: Gollum had already received a release date. Nothing should go wrong on the way there, because the title from Daedalic Entertainment has reached the long-awaited gold status.
Daedalic Entertainment and NACON today officially confirmed that The Lord of the Rings: Gollum has reached Gold status. With this, the development work on the game is officially complete and nothing stands in the way of the punctual release on May 25, 2023 for PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
Interested parties can then not only start the trip to Middle-earth as part of the Standard Edition. A special edition of the game, the Precious Edition, was announced to accompany the start of pre-orders this Friday. This was put together primarily for real Tolkien fans.
Middle-earth lovers get over 100 artworks, a lore compendium with exciting information about Middle-earth, an additional Sindarin language pack and more. Officially, the contents of this version of the game are stated as follows:
