Transformers movies in order of how to watch them

Movies, Order, Transformers, watch

Michael Bay’s Transformers movies were one of the most popular franchises at the box office in the late 2000s through the 2010s, but they’ve taken a bit of a hiatus since the last installment (while Bay has been making other exciting movies). new movies).

That will change soon, because Creed II Director Steven Caple Jr. directs the upcoming Transformers: Rise of the Beastsstarring Anthony Ramos and hits theaters on June 9th. So what better time than now to catch up with all the other films in the franchise?

The Transformers movies have a very complicated lore and timeline that got even more complicated with the 2018 release bumblebee, which reconnected much of what we thought we knew about the Transformers universe. But we’ve rounded up three different potential watch orders so you can enjoy this Autobot action in any way that feels best to you.

Where to watch the Transformers movies streaming?

Before we dive into the potential watch orders, it’s important to know where they’re all streamed.

Most movies can be streamed on Paramount Plus: revenge of the fallen, The dark side of the moon, Age of Annihilation (also available on Prime Video and MGM Plus) and bumblebee are all available on the platform.

We recommend this playlist for those who have seen all of Transformers often enough that they want to confuse things with a different experience. In this order, you’ll jump from movie to movie to stay as close to a purely chronological order as possible. It’s difficult because of the franchise’s convoluted lore, and some flashbacks are included but others aren’t. We made these decisions based on how much of the flashback was actually shown, not just talking about it.

The number in parentheses indicates when the movie (or scene) takes place.

  1. Age of Annihilation 0:00-2:19 (65 million years ago)
