2022 had great titles like Elder Ring y God of War: Ragnarok, but one of our favorite games of the year was an indie game that seemed tiny in comparison, but brought us lots of laughs and fun. When is it coming out or what is the release date of the free update Relics of the Old Faith for Cult of the Lamb?
The studio Massive Monster and the distributor Devolver Digital confirmed during the most recent presentation Nintendo Indie World that the DLC will be available from Monday April 24, 2023.
This update will be available for all platforms the game was released for: Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Series X|S y para PC mediante Steam.
What content and news will the update have?
The most interesting thing is a new post-game story in which a mysterious being sends us on a new quest with the help of Relics. These items grant unique effects to the protagonist, changing combat in many different ways.
We can perform sermons to unlock new relics and discover the truth about the strange ‘Three Ducks’. Among the relics are some that allow you to stop time, use random abilities, freeze everything, poison everything, summon tentacles and gamble for advantages or disadvantages.
We will also have new heavy attacks with different weapons.
Other novelties are the following:
- The four bishops or bosses in the base game can become followers or followers.
- We can assign a follower to prepare food in the kitchen for up to 30 followers.
- Shared shelters that house up to three followers.
- Crypt to handle higher number of dead followers
- Agricultural signs for crops to be organized automatically.
- New fan shapes: badgers, penguins, raccoons and more.
- Photo mode with stickers.
Of course, we will also find new minibosses, special encounters with characters, robes and side missions. There will also be more difficult challenges.
