Game news Street Fighter 6 is now playable, but not for everyone!
Last night Capcom hosted a small online show solely focused on Street Fighter 6: the least we can say is that it put stars in the eyes of its audience and even entertained a good chunk with a special surprise.

Capcom had warned, Capcom did: last night the publisher and developer held its showcase dedicated to Street Fighter 6 and it contained some new surprises. For example the rapper Lil Wayne who came to present the show (after all, why not) or even the first officially made DLCs that will add new characters: Rashid this summer, AKI in the fall, Ed this winter and Akuma in spring 2024.
The Osaka company also dropped a nice treat : a playable demo of the game… but only on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5! Once again, Capcom shows its good agreement with Sony, therefore preferring PlayStation players who can already jump to the store to download this free installment of the famous fighting game. So if you have a PlayStation 5 or 4 and a PSN account, you can download the Street Fighter 6 demo now: this enables in particular Create your own fighter and dApproaching the World Toura new mode heavily promoted by the developers.
This will allow for more controlled story writing and will even include some RPG elements with skill points and a whole dedicated tree for our new racquet head. We can also consume items and get rewards that can be given to the characters of the game to create connections with some of them.
It’s finally possible to train with Ryu and Luke: That’s how it’s going in the PlayStation Store right now and it doesn’t cost a kopek. Street Fighter 6 will be released on June 2nd on PC, PS5, PS4 and Xbox Series.
