Developer workshops will explain how to create applications that take advantage of these new features; there will be several workshops dedicated to the development of applications for large screens and the use of available space. Android Auto will also have its own session, with new features for creating applications suitable for use on car screens.
As expected, the Artificial intelligence it will take a lot of weight at Google I/O compared to previous editions, becoming one of the four centerpieces of the event. Specifically, Google will generative AI news, and has already announced that it will launch tools to take advantage of it. The workshops will also cover how to build apps that use machine learning, so Android 14 will likely offer access to this technology.
The other two sections need no introduction. The web is still important to Google, which will introduce new features in ChromeOS and in the web browser; one session will focus on gaming and it looks like Chrome will play a part in that. Finally, the Google cloud will grow in importance, providing access to generative AI and new features for both developers and end users.
