Armored Core 6 gameplay trailer shows off intense mech action, summer release date set

FromSoftware not only released a trailer Armored Core 6: Rubicon FireBut it also removes a date.

The mech-action game launches this summer on PC, PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on August 25.

In the game, a mysterious new substance called coral was discovered on the distant planet Rubicon 3. As a source of energy, the substance promises to significantly improve human technology and communication capabilities.

Instead, it created a catastrophe that engulfed the planet and surrounding stars in flames and storms, creating a flaming star system.

Nearly half a century later, the coral has resurfaced on Rubicon 3, a planet now contaminated and sealed off by a catastrophe. Here, alien corporations and resistance groups vie for control of the substance.

Your goal in the game is to infiltrate Rubicon as a lone mercenary, where you’ll find yourself fighting corporations and other factions for substance.

Armored Core 6 features a highly mobile and customizable mech that lets you use offensive and defensive maneuvers on land and in the air to outwit your enemies. To be a successful and profitable mercenary, master rapidly changing combat distances, use the environment for protective cover and fight in all directions to overcome challenging enemies and situations.
