Dead Cells ‘Clean Cut’ (coming soon)
Important characteristics
- New weapons for survival: Sewing scissors.
Instak kills all enemies it hits, as long as at least one of them dies from standard weapon damage. - A new weapon of brutality: A giant comb.
Throws your enemies high and deals critical damage to mobs in the air! - New NPC: The tailor’s daughter.
Find her in Tailor’s roomand talk to her to freely change the appearance of your head. - New Speedrun mode option.
Activate it to track and display the completion time of each biome. It also tracks your previous best results and compares them! - New Boss Rush DIY Fashionwhich allows you to choose the bosses you want to face in a race.
- 3 bosses from Return to Castlevania are now available in Chief Rush.
- Lots of work on Training room! We’ve added a bunch of options to simplify the experimentation process, such as:
– New interfaces for crafting certain weapons with set level, quality and legendary.
– New user interface for selecting a certain number of scrolls
– New user interface to select the overall scaling level of the training room, based on the value of the selected biome.
– Added mini-bosses to mob spawners
– Added tons of different traps to mob rooms.
– Added Return to Castlevania Bosses.
– Bosses are no longer reduced to level 1! (no more fighting than 20 minutes)
– Changed the mob selection UI to a grid based one.
– Added practice dummy for DPS calculation.
Balancing
- Slow effects now stack up to 5 times. Each streak has a larger slowing effect, then the affected enemy is frozen on the fifth streak.
- Bunch of Reworked Mutations:
- Combination: Allow damage to increase with each melee hit in a 2.5 second window (of course, the window refreshes after each hit). It grows exponentially, go crazy with it!
- Infected bottle: Can be refilled even if your bottle is not completely empty. Also adds 1 more elite to each biome when equipped.
- Networking: Now marks enemies with ranged attacks, no longer having to be an actual projectile stuck in the mob’s body.
- Lunatic: Now stackable and makes you immune to stuns.
- What doesn’t kill you: Now grants recovery instead of healing.
- Necromancy: Also now grants recovery instead of healing. It increases with the max health of the mobs you kill, meaning you can get more healing by killing a stronger enemy. The cap has been removed, but is less effective as you approach max health.
- Frostbite: Now stacks with slow effects and acts as a full stack on frozen targets.
- Dead inside: Doubles your life but prevents ALL sources of healing.
- Separation: No more cooldowns!.. but can only be activated once per biome.
- Back to Castlevania balancing:
- Whip Sword – A form of whip now it goes through the shields.
- Whip Sword’s the transformation attack hitbox had a tendency to bug, it should now be consistent with its visual effect, meaning it will no longer only hit one target.
- Spirits gathered near Death’s Scythe they now have a slightly smaller blast radius.
- Bible it is now considered a heavy weapon.
- Alucard’s shield it has better parry windows, and the entire combo will now be critical after parrying.
- A stepping stone it now deals slightly more damage and has a smaller but longer window before you can “catch” it (ie launch a critical strike). Its cooldown now begins upon its destruction.
- Holy water has a larger vertical hitbox, and flames now deal damage.
- Head of Medusa deals more damage and hits extra.
- Added a long cooldown when it is Cat was killed by Queen.
- Throwing axe can no longer roll Fire bullet attach.
- Medusa’s flurry attacks should now have a small pause after the attack ends.
- Haunted armor (the one with the axe) should now activate at a slightly longer range.
- Elite Mermans now it should fire 2 large fireballs instead of one large and one normal.
- Dracula (Humanoid). fire pillars are now slightly easier to avoid (in terms of interval) but can no longer be rolled.
- Dracula (Demon), Buer, Werewolves and Medusa now they are considered beasts (criticisms of Crowbar).
