The past 2022 was not entirely good for Marvel Studios. Yes ok Spider-Man: No Way Home was there to save the company financially, the movies released last year did not arouse the interest of fans who left the franchise after Avengers: Endgame. Even so, the House of Ideas had hopes set in 2023 with the film that was going to start Phase 5 of the UCM: Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.
Unfortunately, the film did not fully convince the public and, although it has not done badly at the box office, the desire to go see this Avenger in theaters faded after a few weeks. Even so, Marvel does not lose faith and in less than a month anyone with a Disney+
To recap a bit of what has happened so far in the MCU, while Spider-Man tries to return to an everyday life and Dr. Strange seeks to close all the Multiverses open because of the wall-crawler, Scott Lang mistakenly travels to the quantum realm, where he is Kangthe new great enemy of Marvel that will give a lot to talk about in the coming years.
However, there is a chance that Kang will end up changing actors, since the accusations against Jonathan Majors have grown in recent weeks and the studio could cut ties with the interpreter if he ends up convicted. We will have to see how this controversy evolves, but in the meantime, we will follow the adventures of this Avenger through the Quantum Realm with his family.
