Just last week, the Huawei P40 Lite, one of Huawei's most respected family members, became official. He did it with four cameras, which is the current Kirin processor. Strange The P40 Lite is the cheapest Huawei PXX Lite in recent years, perhaps as part of Huawei's strategy to grow sales even though you don't offer Google services.
Through Huawei Poland we have teamed up with Huawei P40 Lite E, the younger brother of the P40 Lite, who cuts a bit of its details to keep changing its price.

Same heart, humble hardware
The Huawei P40 Lite E keeps my older brother's Kirin 810, which is good news, because it's a processor, at least on paper, rather than a mid-range resolution. However, the cuts are visible on several fronts. The first is the panel. In P40 Lite mode we get 6.4 inches IPS with Full HD + resolution, which is limited IPS 6.39 inches with HD + resolution in this version E.
The Huawei P40 Lite E has less memory and battery than the standard model, however, the information on the page is worth it.
Another cut point is storage and RAM. In this case, we go from the 6 + 128 GB P40 Lite base to the base 4 + 64 GB base. An important cut, but it leaves the P40 Lite E with good memory repair. Regarding the battery, a small cut, as we got 4,000mAh instead of 4,200mAh but, given the low maintenance of the app, battery performance doesn't look bad. Of course, the load is 10W, no ultrafast load
The fingerprint reader goes back and, at design level, we found a very simple phone and compact. At 183 grams of the standard model we go to 176 grams. A painful cut instead passing from USB-C from P40 Lite to microUSB, the technology we see is small and low, even economically.
We lost a camera there
Huawei P40 Lite highlighted its quad camera suspension. In this P40 Lite E the camera is lost there, leaving us with a vertical line (no modules here) for three cameras. In this case, the main sensor is 48 megapixels, which is compatible with the other two sensors: an extra wide angle of 8 megapixels and 2 to measure the depth of field.
In this case, nothing came from Android 10 in this economic model. For Android 9, there is no Google services tracker
At the software level, without any surprises. Android 9 with EMUI 9.1 (no EMUI 10 with Android 10, yet) no Google services tracker. As always, keep in mind that there are ways to install easily, even though this is left to the user.
Prices and pricing for Huawei P40 Lite E
The Huawei P40 Lite E appeared on the Huawei Poland page at an exchange price of 162 euros. However, no worldwide information about this device, so it is not yet known whether it will eventually reach many markets. From Xataka Android we asked Huawei to learn more about the availability of this device and we will update the article with its feedback.
