Sony has promised more PC ports, so Bloodborne is only a matter of time, right?

bloodborne, matter, ports, promised, Sony, time

sony It has been confirmed that it plans to bring more games to PC in the future, especially since its games perform well on computers.

Sony has been steadily adding some of its hottest titles to the PC since 2020, finally catching up with the times and making its titles more accessible to a wider audience. It all started with Horizon Zero Dawn, with titles like God of War, Marvel’s Spider-Man, and The Last of Us Part 1 coming to PC further. As part of Sony’s recently released fiscal 2022 financial report, Sony also confirmed that it plans to continue releasing games on PC, which is no surprise since it’s making a lot of money through the process (thanks, PCGamer).

In the report, Sony states that it plans to release Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 this year, which currently has no release date, and it also writes about plans to continue making new IPs, as well as “launching PC catalog titles” the line does make it sound It still doesn’t launch its games on consoles and PC at the same time, but I guess so.

Financial results for PC sales in 2021 haven’t been all that hot, with sales never surpassing $380 million in each fiscal quarter (this does include VR, as well as other peripherals, it should be noted). But things seem to be picking up in 2022, with $601 million in Q3 and over $1 billion in Q4 – although PSVR2 did launch this year, probably contributing to some of that, even if the sales numbers aren’t what Sony might hope so.

Who knows what Sony has in store for a future PlayStation release on PC, but if you’ve read this headline, you obviously know what I, and many others, want: Bloodborne. Maybe as a little treat? I’m waiting, Sony.
