After waiting for him for months, the black WhatsApp mode has officially landed on the iPhone. It was about one of the most awaited news by all WhatsApp users, many as it is the most widely used operating system in the world.
WhatsApp black mode is available for both iOS and Android, though how to use it is very different in both systems. While in the Google app there is a chance to use it in older versions from the app itself, in the case of iOS and iPhone it is different.
WhatsApp black mode, at least for now, is exclusive to iPhone with iOS 13 installed. This is because the operating mode is compatible with that of the application. That is, black WhatsApp mode is activated only when black mode is activated on the iPhone. And since black mode is special in iOS 13, if the Sun has an older device around 12 12 or earlier, you won't be able to enjoy it.
So you can activate black WhatsApp mode on your iPhone
As we mentioned, iOS 13 is essential for dark mode to work on your iPhone, if you have a previous version of the program you can't use it. So the first thing to do upgrade to iOS 13, if your iPhone is not compatible you have no way to use WhatsApp black mode. To check the version of your operating system go Settings> General> Software update and check that you have the latest version installed.
Now that you know you have iOS 13 installed on your iPhone it's time to go to the App Store to make sure you have updated WhatsApp to the version that comes with black mode. Mode WhatsApp Dark is available in versions 2.20.30 or later. To view it, just click on the link to WhatsApp below, if the App Store says Open, you already have the latest version, if not your fault, refresh.
Now that you've confirmed that You have both iOS 13 and the latest version of WhatsApp installed on your iPhone, these are the steps you must follow to activate dark mode, there are several options to choose the one you like the most:
- The first option: we open the program Settings for iPhone, press Screen and brightness then black.
- Option Two: slide the Control center, press and hold the light icon and press the icon in the bottom left corner that means Dark Mode.
- Option 3: we open Settings, click Control center, in customized settings and to get Black Mode, press "+" and it will be added to the Control Center. When we download it we will see this new button to activate quickly and function in black mode.
- Option four: Ask Siri to activate dark mode: "Hey Siri, activate dark mode".
Any of these methods will use the program's black mode and, consequently, the black WhatsApp mode. If you want to get back to the true theme then you should follow the same steps, but you will use the black mode of iPhone and WhatsApp.
