One of the big surprises this year in the indie gaming world was a title that combined two genres that no one thought could work together. We are talking about the excellent fishing and horror game Dredgewhich will receive new free content and paid DLC throughout the year.

The news reached us through a post on the official PlayStation blog. Nadia Thorne —game producer at Black Salt Games— revealed the roadmap for new free content and paid DLC for Dredge.
This is the content that will arrive:
- Pointers for the map: May 2023
- Photo mode, passive mode and wildlife: second quarter of 2023
- boat paint: third quarter of 2023
- Ironhaven Oil Rig DLC: last quarter of 2023
The passive mode will give us the opportunity to explore the map without fearing the monsters and dangers lurking in the sea to provide a relaxed experience. The photo mode will be linked to a new character and a new mission that will ask us to photograph the wildlife of the archipelago.
But the jewel in the crown of the new content of Dredge It will not be free: the paid DLC will introduce us to new characters and the Ironhaven corporation, who want to install an oil rig to “reactivate the economy”, but have hidden plans.
