Halo: The Master Chief Collection: Next part now available for PC

Chief, Collection, Halo, Master, part

With Halo: Reach, the Halo: The Master Chief Collection also started on the PC, but PC gamers had to wait for the first parts of the large game collection. At least a second part of the franchise is now available for the platform.

After a few test runs, it had long been known that the Halo: The Master Chief Collection on PC would next be supplemented with Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, i.e. the optimized reissue of the successful original. It was previously unclear when exactly this title would be available in the collection.

Now 343 Industries and Microsoft have surprisingly done nails with their heads, because Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary can now be officially played on the PC. The second title in the collection is also included in the Xbox Game Pass for the PC and can be played via Windows 10 and Steam.

Only yesterday there were rumors on the net that the title would really be available within the collection soon, but initially an announcement of the release date was expected.

On the PC, you will be able to play the game with the classic graphics or with the improved look; Even nostalgics will get their money's worth. Otherwise, some new features and optimizations are on board, including in terms of support for 60 fps and 4K UHD. Variable frame rates, native KBM support and free assignment of the controller are part of the game, as is the support for ultra-wide displays.
