Death Stranding and Hideo Kojima, creator of Metal Gear Solid, recently spoke publicly about something related to the Metal Gear Solid camera he called a "psychological photo."
Following the recent announcement that the "Dead Stranded" PC version will come with a photo mode, Twitter on the island discussed the use of cameras in his previous games. You can view the first tweet below.
I proposed an idea called "camera" in MGS1 (1998). I think that if all of them can exist in the 3D game world, we can switch the camera POV⇄ third-person perspective, then having items like "sniper rifle", "remote control missile" and "camera" will be effective.

The tweet began: "I came up with the idea of the" # 39; camera "in MGS1." Although I'm almost certain that some cameras existed for quite some time before 1998. However, it is interesting to consider where his thinking ends. stand up. At first he seemed to be talking about ordinary third-person cameras in video games. But after …
You can take photos with POV, you can change the color, save it after compressing it to JPEG. I also added mental photos. Lol

He continued: "You can take photos with POV, you can change the color, compress it to JPEG, and then save it." All of these are standard, and most of us know how to save a good old JPEG. But the next point is: "I also added a mental picture. LOL." What?
Fortunately, he elaborated or at least tried (obviously, because if he didn't, how would we know what a "psychological photo" is):
If you take a picture with the camera in MGS1 (1998), depending on the shooting area, something that does not exist will appear. Actually, I was the face of the staff then. Through exorcism, this psychic photo will disappear from the file. Some media take it seriously and unexpectedly become a hot topic.

I'm not sure what this is that doesn't exist – I'm thinking maybe BT in real life, but no. It seems that photos can be taken in Metal Gear Solid 1, so that the faces of game workers can grow up-so "spiritual photos" can obviously be driven out, just like some sort of demon. . nice one.
Anyway, from these tweets, we can see that since the 1998 Metal Gear Solid camera, Kojima has been interested in the idea of in-game photos. So, at least, it's fascinating to understand that photography models are flooding with "dead stranding"-especially considering that we noticed its incredible beauty in the "dead stranding" review.
