less than a week to go The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom When it’s out, Nintendo posted a handy short recap video to remind you of the story so far.
Breath of the Wild came out six years ago, and while it’s one of the best entries in the series, it’s understandable if you can’t remember everything that happened in the game. If you’re looking for a quick and easy way to catch up on the storyline or relive it yourself, well, you’ll get the most out of playing the game. Beyond that, though, Nintendo also released a sub-seven-minute video titled “Revisiting the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’s Story,” which also seems to help remind you of what’s going on.
This video is really just a way of learning the main plot beats, like you look things up on Wikipedia, but that also involves reading, and sometimes you want something looser than that. Don’t expect to watch the full cutscenes either, as it’s mostly a compilation of Breath of the Wild clips, with narration filling in the gaps.
In a very rare move for The Legend of Zelda, Tears of Kingdoms takes place shortly after the events of the first game, which had considerable significance for the second game. There are sequels all over the place, but Tears of Kingdoms looks like the first one that’s really leaning towards being a sequel.
We’re about four days away from launch, and the game finally launches this Friday, May 12th. Nintendo also showed off more gameplay in Treehouse: Live the night before the game’s launch, giving us another taste of what it all actually sneaks into ourselves before we can.
