Nintendo has confirmed to investors that they don’t plan to release any new Nintendo hardware this fiscal year, which ends on March 31, 2024. It seems pretty reasonable to think that the new platform could launch sometime next year, but you can never doubt Nintendo. The Nintendo Switch family is entering its seventh year on the market, and while the hardware is aging and sales are slowing faster than expected, the device is still selling well among consumers despite the Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5.
