Crossguard Stance in Star Wars Jedi Survivor Explained
THE crossguard stance is another selectable option for Cal’s two position slots and provides additional skills and abilities, as well as another way to fight.
The Crossguard stance opens up a more powerful and slower fighting style that deals more damage per hit than other stances, perfect for breaking through enemy defenses.
As mentioned, additional abilities are available, unlocked through the position’s dedicated skill tree – with skills such as ‘Rending Strike‘ which allows you to “perform a single high damage swing with a long windup” when using the standard attack button.

How to Unlock Shattered Moon and Get Crossguard Stance in Star Wars Jedi Survivor
You’ll be happy to hear that acquiring the Crossguard stance is relatively straightforward, and it’s something you’ll come across naturally as part of story progression.
You’ll know when you’re close to reaching its unlock point because that’s after you complete the main objectives on the planet, Jedha – you should be at the Archives after that point.
Thereafter, you are given two main objectives – one of the two will ask you to go to the broken moonand this is where you will find the crossguard stance.
Once there, keep following your main objectives until you reach a domed building in the Space ‘Superstructure Manufacturers’ – there will be a meditation point just outside, and the building is reached by crossing a gap using two ropes suspended above.
Meditate and rest before entering to restore your health, strength and boost packs, then enter and pick up the device on the far left of the room – it is after this that you will trigger a boss fight that you must complete to acquire the position.
Once the boss is down, a cutscene will play where Cal will head to the nearby workbench, tinker with some tools, and customize his lightsaber to unlock crossguard stance for use.
You’ll be able to test this stance against a few enemies as you head to the next objective before the game asks if you want to equip it – if it’s not for you, you can choose not to equip it , and it will be free to pass whenever you use a Meditation Point.
Enjoy your new style of fighting game!
