How to Level Up Trailblaze in Honkai Star Rail

When it comes to leveling up your Trailblaze you need to earn Trailblaze experience points and while you actually need them to level up there are a range of activities that reward you with Trailblaze experience points upon completion.

Your primary source of Trailblaze experience points is in-game quests. From Trailblaze Missions to Adventure Missions, all of them give you at least some experience points. Some of the main quests in the game can give you up to 1000 experience points, so completing them is extremely important.

Exploration is also useful when looking for more Trailblaze experience points. As you progress through quests and explore maps, you can find regular chests or valuable treasures. By opening them, you will be rewarded with some experience.

Another great constant source of Trailblaze experience points is the daily training. This is a daily quest system that you unlock as you progress through the Jarilo-VI story. Every day, the Daily Training gives you the opportunity to earn up to 1000 Trailblaze Experience Points. All you have to do is complete enough missions to reach 500 activity points.

Now you can earn Trailblaze Experience points from other activities, but they aren’t as functional as the first ones. First, by completing a world for the first time in the Simulated universe, you are rewarded with Trailblaze Experience points. And when you complete the missions of the Operation briefing, you also receive Trailblaze Experience points. The downside to both of these activities is the fact that you cannot repeat them to accumulate points.

Finally, you can go to battles in a Calyx, which is a system used to accumulate money or character experience points. When you run this activity, you can earn some Trailblaze Experience points.

Trailblaze Tier Rewards List: What you get for reaching each Trailblaze Tier in Honkai Star Rail

At the time of writing this guide, the Trailblaze level cap is 70 and as you go through the levels you earn different rewards, from Stellar Jades to Relic sets.

The Trailblaze level progression system requires you to complete the Trial of Balance, which involves fighting powerful enemies, once you reach levels 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, and 65, not only to continue to improve your Trailblaze level, but also to increase the level of balance.

In Honkai: Star Rail, the level of balance affects the difficulty of the game, making enemies stronger. At the same time, it also increases the rank of relics and items you drop when you complete in-game activities.

Unlike other Hoyoverse games, you cannot decrease the balance level. At the time of writing this guide, the maximum balance level in Honkai: Star Rail is 7.

After upgrading your Trailblaze level, you can go to Pom-Pom at the cart in the lounge and ask them “How’s my Trailblaze level?” and claim the rewards.
