We are going to tell you how to activate or deactivate the ranked or Ranked mode of Fortnite, how it works and what rewards you can earn.

How does the ranking system work?

If we have the ‘Ranking’ option activated, we will see our current ranking on the left side of the screen along with a bar that indicates how much we have left to advance to the next ranking or return to the previous one.

Ranking up or down depends on:

  • The position in which we were in the game.
  • The amount of eliminations we get directly or in our team.
    • Eliminations in the later stages of the game will give us more points than those obtained at the beginning of the game.
    • The ratings of the players we remove are taken into account.

Teams will be treated as a single unit regardless of the number of participants. Of course, be careful with the matchmaking because the player with the highest ranking on the team will determine the level of the rivals we will face. For example, if our team is made up of Gold I and Silver I players, we will be matched against Gold I teams.
