NetherRealm Studios and Warner Bros. are busy preparing to close the long-awaited next game in the cult Mortal Kombat series. The gory fighting game is expected to be a complete reboot of the series that originally launched back in 1992. The reboot will reportedly be called Mortal Kombat 1 and is expected to launch on multiple platforms later this year. Characters rumored to appear in the game include Peacemaker, Conan the Barbarian, and Homelander, although these characters are thought to be part of the game’s Character Pass.
