Lately, the controversy (also very recurrent) has arisen again as to whether emulation in video games is correct or not. When can we talk about piracy? It is sometimes difficult to distinguish between one thing and another. It is obvious that there is a strong preservation component, but… What if there were already digital platforms that allow you to enjoy these video games?
The different subscription models offered by Nintendo, Xbox or Playstation (among others) allow you to play out-of-print titles, or titles that are directly difficult to find on the retro market. Thanks to them we can have access to a handful of titles, although we will not always find everything we are looking for. For this reason, our colleagues Roberto, Kevin and Dani discussed this situation, and how good or bad emulation is for the industry.
