Blizzard Entertainment already hinted at plans last year to finally host BlizzCon 2023 again in the form of a regular live event. The format has now been officially announced.
Due to the corona pandemic, BlizzCon has become a purely online event in recent years – but that was simply not the same for Blizzard Entertainment. The pandemic is largely over – and that’s why Blizzard’s own event can now return to its original format.
The cult developer has now confirmed via the official blog that after four years of online events, a regular live event can finally take place again this year. Accordingly, it’s back to the Anaheim Convention Center on November 3rd and 4th, where numerous fans of Blizzard titles will frolic together with the developers. In the course of this, new announcements and fresh game impressions of upcoming games can probably be expected again.
According to the official blog, players are at the heart of what makes BlizzCon so great. Accordingly, one is happy to be able to welcome them live on site again, also to announce there what will be planned next in the big Blizzard game universes.
Further details on the planned show will then be announced in the coming month of June; then there is also ticket information and details about competitions and cosplay formats.
