Known internally as Project Helix, Ubisfoft’s foray into the saga created by George Lucas would be much closer than expected.
Ubisoft hasn’t had a good time. Cancellations of projects with substantial losses and the absence of major releases for some time seem to be weighing on the French company despite its recent foray into consoles for its Ubisoft plus subscription service.
On the horizon, productions like Assassin’s Creed Mirage, the long-delayed Skull and Bones, The Crew: Motorfest and an unannounced game that would arrive before 2024, and it’s this very title that opens the door to a possibility that could be truly enormous.

While the anxiety is high, this fiscal year seems to be very close to closing for a game that isn’t even known. Perhaps fiscal year 2025 (starting April 1, 2024) is a bit more realistic. Since Ubisoft hasn’t confirmed or denied anything, apparently everyone has to choose what to believe.
